Tree Sparrow – Gealbhainn crann

There are less Tree Sparrows than in the past and you are more likely to find them in the east of Ireland. 

Like a House Sparrow they chirp, but they also make emergency tik tik sounds. You will find larger groups together in the winter. They like to eat grain.
